Tropical Pop
Listening to Hollie Cook, makes me imagine sitting on a beach under blue skys looking out over the Carribean sea, with a cool glass of rum punch.

Hollie's new album is coming out next month, produced by UK dub legend Prince Fatty and I for one, will be buying it. As the daughter of Sex Pistol drummer, Paul Cook you might expect a bit more of a harsh sound, but Hollie's voice is as smooth as ice cream.

4 units of quality dark rum (Preferably from Barbados)

Koko Pops
So last Thursday the Noiseban guys did an aperitif set for the Fanny Games gig at Koko. Fanny Games did a sharp electro set in the top bar, with Grum headlining the room. Here are the Fanny Games fellas getting excited:

The guys at Fanny Games are mates of Noiseban and they've DJ'd for us a few times. They asked me to mention their up coming gig at Koko so here it is:

Feadz & Dday One
Why Hello,
Both of the following tracks independently gave me major league goosebumps and made the hairs stand straight on my back.
The first one is Dday One - It's Just A Playground, which you can buy here
The Second is Feadz - 2Kind4U, which, although Feadz is now with edbangerrecords, you can only buy it in the BPitch Control Label's compilation album Camping, Volume 2 available here
