So last Thursday the Noiseban guys did an aperitif set for the Fanny Games gig at Koko. Fanny Games did a sharp electro set in the top bar, with Grum headlining the room. Here are the Fanny Games fellas getting excited:
The guys at Fanny Games are mates of Noiseban and they've DJ'd for us a few times. They asked me to mention their up coming gig at Koko so here it is: 21 APR FANNY GAMES @ KOKO - LONDON There is a pretty rad line up for the night including Alex Metric, Alan Braxe and Grum and tickets are only £12 (buy here) and as Nico puts it "THEY ARE BECOING FEW!!"

Beans (A.K.A. DJ Propolis) is a Candaian mate of mine, I'm listening to one of his mixes right now and my heart rate has dropped to like 5bpm or something. Unfortunately unless you're planing on going to British Columbia any time soon, your chances of seeing him play are pretty low. You'll have to settle for this live set he did for Uvic recently: Liam Beans meets DJ Propolis by Liam Beans
Edit: I forgot to say, he has some interesting stuff on soundcloud too.
I got this album a little while back and it's my favorite at the moment. Every track on it (except Good riddance) is a brilliant slice of smooth disco. I wanted to play a few tracks from the album, but they are really difficult to find online. The title track is a blend of psycadellic space disco witha real late 70's feel mixed with a reaggae sound and an modern feel:
Other excellent tracks on this album include the dreamy "Fish in the sky" and the electro edged "Without lies". You should definately get a copy of this album.
Its a really smooth mix of ambient hip-hop with down-tempo chill.
