I've just been to Berlin and I visited a club called Berghain. They are pretty strict on who they let in, so a square like you won't get past the door men - but if you do some how fool them, you'll be treated to some sexy hardcore techno. It's what I imagine Fabric was like before it got over-run with tourists and idiots (like me). Actually I take that back - Fabric is still great.

A mate of mine is a techno DJ and for quite a while I have mocked his genre, saying there isn't enough going on and techno is boring. Well this is me officially eating my words - in the right environment techno is sehr gut!

Where's this bad boy been hiding?

This bassnectar remix of the Pixies classic is over 2 years old and its still got all the brown notes.

If you want to see bassnectar in the UK, you cant (unless you can somehow get into the already sold out secret garden party) but what you can do is listen to more bassnectar tracks and remixes.

Now then, last night, Monoferrousity had a great time watching These Single Spies down at Carnivale (end of Brick Lane). Tight & professional sound, creative, interesting and well worth a listen. If you want more words check out The Wireless interview.

He Inspired the hearts, and challenged the minds of many. Only a poet as great as he, could explore in words the impact and progress he installed in this world.
