Hej hej.

We are sorting out our next night at the moment, with some possible treats in store, I'll tell you more about that soon. For the time being you'll have to be satisfied with some tunes.

Last week I saw LCD soundsystem at Brixton Academy and they rocked. The sound quality wasn't great and it was difficult to hear the vocals but you couldn't fault LCD soundsystem for energy and atmosphere. Their new album isn't out till next month but you can hear the whole thing for free on the official LCD soundsystem website. The first time I listened to it I wasn't sure, but it is a definte grower. Slagsmålsklubben are an interesting Swedish band who appeared on last years Kitsuné Maison Compilation 8. I think these two videos are a few years old, but I couldn't resist sharing them.





In a totaly different musical direction Cypress Hill have also got a new album out, you can listen to it on their website for free. I can imagine it's not everyones cup of tea, but I quite like it, especially the track Armada Latina, which has quite a summer vibe and really steps away from the rest of the tracks, check out the video here. I can't mention Cypress Hill without a link to Rock Superstar.

Only on a Friday

It looks like the next noise_ban will be even bigger than the last one. We will give you some more details, as soon as we confirm the date. We have been talking to some really interesting musicians, but I can't tell you their names just yet. Here are some pictures of the last noise_ban to wet your appetite.

Friday = Good

On Good Friday we had the first Noise Ban at Cocomo. Photos will be uploaded soon, as will a few mixes by Ceefax B, Monsieur Ferro and Full Stop so you can get an idea what it sounded like last week (unfortunately we weren't able to record anything this time).
